The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws a leg kick but Escobar checks it.
Hawkins slaps away a takedown attempt from Escobar, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Escobar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Escobar cracks Hawkins with a right hand to the side of the head.
Escobar scores with a body shot.
Escobar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Escobar tries to clinch but Hawkins moves out of range.
Hawkins takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Escobar throws a nice looking combination but Hawkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hawkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawkins.

Escobar sizes up Hawkins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Escobar connects with a right hand. Hawkins shakes it off.

Escobar cracks Hawkins with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hawkins falls to his knees and Escobar doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
