Tyson has chosen The Final Countdown as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hiroshi Sato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato is looking to clinch but Tyson is avoiding it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sato. Tyson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sato has Tyson up against the cage in a clinch.
Sato effectively controlling the action here.
Sato creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tyson's defenses.
A short uppercut from Sato.
Tyson holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Tyson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sato lands a left hand.
Sato manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tyson tries to work over Sato's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sato trying to stall but Tyson improves his position.
Sato creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tyson's defenses.
Sato pushes Tyson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tyson.
Tyson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sato gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Sato lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tyson backwards.
Tyson can't find room to land a body shot as Sato controls the action.
Sato swings wildly with an uppercut but Tyson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sato has a couple of punches blocked by Tyson.
Sato lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Tyson scores with a nice short uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tyson throws a punch but it's blocked by Sato.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Sato taking a breather.
Sato misses with an elbow strike.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Sato.


It looks like Mike Tyson has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice left hand lands by Sato.
Tyson struggles to land a body shot inside as Sato controls his hands.
Sato wants to stall.
Sato working aggressively here.
Tyson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sato misses with an elbow over the top.
Sato blocking some punches.
Sato lands an elbow inside that Tyson shrugs off.


Tyson is rocked!
Sato lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Tyson is still on wobbly legs! Can Sato finish him?
Sato unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Tyson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sato is unloading with more strikes now! Tyson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiroshi Sato!
