PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Europha Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gracie Jitsu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gracie Jitsu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu moves in looking to clinch but Emanuel pushes him off.
Jitsu misses with a body kick.

Jitsu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jitsu has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Emanuel sizes up Jitsu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jitsu wants to stand and escape but Emanuel is having none of it.

Jitsu seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Emanuel for as long as he can get away with.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Emanuel pushes Jitsu off looking to stand but Jitsu dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Emanuel fails with an attempt to clinch.

Emanuel stalks Jitsu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jitsu's face. Jitsu staggers backwards, shaken.

Jitsu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jitsu is keen to just control but Emanuel is a slippery customer.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gracie Jitsu will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Emanuel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gracie Jitsu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Emanuel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jitsu manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jitsu has his feet on Emanuel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Jitsu is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Emanuel will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Emanuel is trying to control Jitsu's posture but Jitsu avoids it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Emanuel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gracie Jitsu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Emanuel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jitsu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jitsu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Europha Emanuel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Emanuel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

I would just about give that final round to Europha Emanuel.
I think Jitsu has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
