Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Deely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Deely's choice of entrance music: Sorry, You're not a Winner. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Deely!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deely shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wallace throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Deely counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Deely.
Wallace tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wallace has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deely can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wallace punching from the bottom - just letting Deely know he's still in a fight.
Deely wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.
Wallace can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Deely controls the pace.
Deely stands up over Wallace, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wallace is trying to control the position but Deely postures up.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Deely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wallace working for submissions but it's allowed Deely to get to half guard.

Deely stands up from half guard.
Wallace tries a low kick but Deely avoids it.

Deely scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Wallace tries to roll over but Deely keeps him under control.
Deely thows a huge punch but Wallace dodges it nicely.
Wallace gets back to full guard.
Wallace thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Wallace looking for a sweep. Not yet Wallace, not yet.
Deely trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wallace's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Deely manages to get himself to full guard.
Wallace trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wallace pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Deely is keeping the position for now.
Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Deely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Deely avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Deely can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wallace stands up over Deely, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Deely working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wallace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Deely scores a takedown into full mount!
Deely fails to move to back control.
Deely really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Deely is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sean Deely will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Deely is looking to clinch.
Wallace throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wallace throws out a leg kick but Deely moves out of range and Wallace only half commits.
Deely avoids the body shot from Wallace.
Deely fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace swats away the attempt to clinch by Deely.

Wallace is looking to chop away at Deely's legs.
Deely tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Deely wants to clinch up but Wallace keeps it at a distance.
Deely is looking to clinch.
Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Deely counters with a takedown into side control.
Wallace manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Wallace seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Deely does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Deely flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Wallace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Wallace wants to finish this one by submission but Deely is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wallace.

Wallace is working for a guillotine from mount but Deely frees his head quite easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Deely is squirming around, avoiding Wallace's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Deely really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Wallace scoring with strikes but Deely is staying in there.

Wallace jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Deely manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Deely tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wallace wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wallace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Deely is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sean Deely has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wallace landing strikes.
Deely is trying to improve his position.
Wallace looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Deely is avoiding damage well.
Wallace is looking to take a break and control but Deely is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wallace grinds an elbow into Deely's temple.

Wallace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wallace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wallace lands a few punches from side control.
Wallace trying to control the position but Deely is working away.

Wallace wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Deely, who protects the arm well.
Deely avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Wallace.
Deely can't do much from the bottom here.
Deely is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Wallace is staying active.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Wallace dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Deely shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Deely misses with an uppercut.

Deely missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Wallace is trying to keep Deely in close.

Wallace has his feet on Deely's thighs here. He's pushed Deely off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Deely screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
