Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Iwan Pawlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Temitope Alabi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Pawlow. Those never looked like landing.
Pawlow looks to land a combination but Alabi avoids it well.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pawlow.
Alabi misses with a punch to the body.
Alabi throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Alabi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Alabi working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Pawlow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pawlow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pawlow feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alabi's calf.
Alabi looks gassed!
Pawlow moves into range and clinches up with Alabi.
Alabi is looking to control Pawlow's arms but Pawlow gets an underhook and turns him. Now Alabi has his back to the cage.
Pawlow working hard to break the clinch.
Pawlow avoiding damage as Alabi throws knees to the body.
Pawlow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alabi has him pressed against the cage.
Alabi misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alabi takes a shot to the head.
Pawlow cracks Alabi with a nice body shot.
Pawlow's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pawlow lets loose with a powerful body kick. Alabi will feel that in the morning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pawlow closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Alabi! Pawlow dives in looking to finish! Alabi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iwan Pawlow!
