Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sthawy Sthowp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fancy Mcghee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sthowp comes into the arena with Blind Guardian - Into the Storn blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Sthowp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sthowp shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcghee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sthowp cracks Mcghee with a big right hand but Mcghee just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sthowp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sthowp misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Mcghee pushes Sthowp away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sthowp gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Sthawy Sthowp will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
