Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Coulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and British Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulldog has chosen Brittania as his entrance music. British Bulldog has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Coulter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, British Bulldog! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bulldog moves into the clinch. Bulldog is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Bulldog gets underhooks to prevent Coulter's takedown attempt.
Bulldog leaning his opponent against the cage. Coulter is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bulldog is defending well. Coulter is trying to trip Bulldog. He has hold of a leg but Bulldog is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Coulter persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Coulter throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bulldog is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coulter scoring with punches to the head and body. Coulter passes Bulldog's left leg - he's now in half guard. Coulter missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bulldog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coulter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coulter wants to control but Bulldog is keeping him busy. Coulter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bulldog's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coulter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Coulter is keen to just control but Bulldog is a slippery customer. Ground and pound from Coulter. Bulldog has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coulter is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coulter throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bulldog on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Coulter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coulter works his way into full mount! Bulldog in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Coulter connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Bulldog looks gassed! Coulter raining down hammerfists from mount. Coulter lands with some strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bulldog can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulldog is trying to escape the mount.
Coulter has hold of Bulldog's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bulldog manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Coulter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bulldog's face.
Coulter controlling the position easily from mount. Bulldog throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Coulter trying to control but Bulldog is having none of it. Coulter landing strikes from the mount and Bulldog is in trouble!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bulldog doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Coulter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Coulter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bulldog to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bulldog shrugs it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bulldog is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Coulter working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coulter lands with some strikes. Bulldog can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Coulter dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Coulter wants to clinch. Coulter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bulldog as he avoids it easily. Bulldog throws a right and a left that Coulter avoids nicely. Bulldog slaps away a takedown attempt from Coulter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bulldog will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Coulter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bulldog manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Coulter with a lazy takedown attempt and Bulldog counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Coulter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bulldog looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bulldog is thwarting Coulter's attempts to control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulldog prevents Coulter from standing back up.
Coulter wants to get back to full guard. Coulter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bulldog pulls his head out easily. Coulter wants to control but Bulldog is keeping busy and won't allow it. Coulter looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bulldog slows the pace down in half guard. Coulter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bulldog.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulldog seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Thomas Coulter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Coulter trying to get back to full guard but Bulldog takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Coulter is desperately trying to improve his position but Bulldog has a good base and remains in mount. Coulter takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bulldog trying to control but Coulter is having none of it. Coulter is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coulter is working hard here to advance position. Bulldog controlling from mount. Coulter is desperately trying to improve his position but Bulldog has a good base and remains in mount. Coulter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coulter throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coulter defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bulldog. Coulter wants to control but Bulldog is having none of it. Bulldog wants to control the pace but Coulter is squirming around nicely. Bulldog working Coulter over with strikes here. Bulldog pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coulter is trying to escape the mount.
Bulldog thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
British Bulldog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Coulter closes the distance and clinches up with Bulldog, looking for a takedown. Coulter pushes Bulldog against the cage but Bulldog circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Thomas Coulter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bulldog shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bulldog tries to pass the half guard into mount. Coulter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Coulter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Coulter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bulldog doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Coulter is tightening it up a little... Bulldog has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bulldog reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bulldog taps out! Nice BJJ there by Coulter!
