Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Sayre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayre has chosen A Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Kronic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teddy Sayre! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kronic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kronic with a jab. Kronic fakes the leg kick and cracks Sayre in the body. Kronic moves into the clinch. Sayre lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Sayre stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sayre lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sayre looking to slow down the pace here. Kronic is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kronic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sayre avoids the head kick by Kronic.
Kronic rushes Sayre and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kronic is trying to push Sayre away but Sayre has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sayre controlling the action here for a moment.
Sayre lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Nate Kronic has been cut. Kronic on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kronic wants to take the fight to the mat but Sayre manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sayre as Kronic tries to tie him up. Kronic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sayre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kronic misses with a body shot.
Kronic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sayre throws a series of punches but Kronic avoids them all with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sayre fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sayre punishes Kronic's body with a nice straight punch. Kronic misses with a body shot.
Kronic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sayre misses with a head kick.
Kronic has managed to clinch.
Sayre is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kronic is defending well for now. Sayre trying to land knees to the body.
Kronic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sayre checks a leg kick. Kronic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kronic misses the body punch and Sayre counters with a one-two to the body. Kronic throws a lazy right hand but Sayre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kronic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sayre takes the fight into the clinch. Sayre crunches a lovely knee into Kronic's ribcage. Sayre lands a damaging elbow. Sayre tries to work over Kronic's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kronic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kronic tries to circle away but Sayre has him pinned against the cage. Sayre lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sayre tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Sayre lands with a light punch inside. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kronic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kronic closes the distance and clinches. Sayre lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kronic backwards. Sayre with a knee to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nate Kronic will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nate Kronic's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kronic throws a one two combo.
Sayre throws a shot from downtown. Kronic moves away and avoids it. Kronic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kronic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sayre throws a sloppy head kick and Kronic moves out of range easily. Kronic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sayre's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sayre wants to sweep but no luck. Kronic wants to get up but he can't break Sayre's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kronic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nate Kronic wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sayre tries to keep at a distance but Kronic has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sayre can't find room to land a body shot as Kronic controls the action.
Sayre is struggling to control the position. Sayre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kronic's efforts to push away. Kronic is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sayre can't fight it off and eventually Kronic manages to take the fight to the floor. Sayre looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kronic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sayre is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sayre looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kronic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sayre's waist but Sayre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kronic off to one side. Sayre stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sayre wants it to stay on the feet. A good leg kick by Sayre. Sayre throws a push kick but Kronic slaps the foot to one side. Kronic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kronic blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sayre takes a knee to the side of the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Sayre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kronic throws a nice inside leg kick. Kronic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Teddy Sayre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kronic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sayre lunges at Kronic with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kronic's hand. Kronic works over Sayre's head and body with a nice combination. Sayre cracks Kronic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sayre throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Kronic swings widly with a right hand
and Sayre counters with a series of strikes. Kronic will be more careful next time no doubt. Sayre slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kronic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sayre sprawls well. Sayre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kronic gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Kronic. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nate Kronic will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nate Kronic's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Nice elbow from Sayre. Kronic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sayre misses with a hook to the ribs.

Nate Kronic is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is keeping an eye on Sayre - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sayre working some nice short punches in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sayre creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Teddy Sayre. I think Kronic has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
