Donatelli comes to the ring accompanied by I Sell Comics - Courage My Love. Vera has chosen You are just a JOKE! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donatelli throws a head kick but Vera moves out of range.

Donatelli jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vera walks away with a smile on his face. Donatelli gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Donatelli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vera pinned against the ropes. Vera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Donatelli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vera tries to avoid it but Donatelli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vera to the ground. Vera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kid Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
