Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Devon James was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a wild combination.
Devon James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by James.
James fails in his attempt to clinch.
James just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.

James has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as James holds on and takes a little breather.

Devon James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
