Santos clobbers Dixon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dixon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Santos counters with a single leg into guard. Dixon didn't expect that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Santos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Dixon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Santos defends well.
Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dixon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Santos stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Dixon throws up his legs and catches Santos in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Santos tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Dixon! That came out of nowhere!
