Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Laski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Laski's waist but Laski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side. Hammer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hammer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Laski to score an easy takedown into full guard. Laski won't allow Hammer to get back to his feet. Laski scoring with punches to the head and body. Laski stands up from Hammer's guard - Laski perhaps looking for a knockout. Laski looking to score a takedown here. Hammer is defending well but Laski drives through and ends up in Hammer's guard. Laski stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Excellent takedown into side control there by Laski. Laski is putting a hurting on Hammer here, landing some big shots from side control. Laski lands a few punches from side control. Laski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Laski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Laski grinds an elbow into Hammer's temple. Hammer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Laski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Laski connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hammer some visible discomfort.
Laski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Laski in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Laski is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hammer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laski landing strikes. Hammer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Laski happy to just control the position for now. Laski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hammer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Laski lands an elbow. Hammer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Laski taking a breather here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Laski might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Laski cracks Hammer with a big elbow. Laski working the head and body with strikes.
Hammer is rocked! Laski staying calm. Oh Hammer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Laski lands a strong strike to the head of Hammer. That's dazed him! Laski looking to finish here. Hammer is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Laski lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saul Laski!
