And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Davison misses its intended target.
Davison cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Davison's half guard.
Davison tries to kick Smith off but Smith keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
It looks like Smith is going to stand back up.
Davison wants to get back to full guard.
Smith stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Davison to get to his feet.
Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davison.
Davison just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sam Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davison takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Davison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smith doesn't seem bothered though.
Smith lands a right hook to the body.

Smith stuns Davison with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith slips under a jab from Davison.
Smith lands with a shot to the body.
Davison is breathing heavily.
Davison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Davison.
Oooooh!!! Smith has knocked Davison down with a huge combo! Smith steps away and waves a wobbly Davison back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Davison is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith lands a huge takedown. Davison is out but the ref is slow to react and Smith lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Davison lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Smith!
Sam Smith decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
