The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamala scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard.

Kamala looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kamala is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Kamala has control of the leg.

Kamala is looking for a kimura but Johnson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kamala to get the leverage.
Kamala is looking to advance position but Johnson won't allow it.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kamala counters with a two punch combo.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kamala shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Johnson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kamala is defending well. Johnson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kamala has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Johnson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
