Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Babsie Paneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Mallao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roger Mallao told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallao with a nice cross.
It looks like Babsie Paneda has been cut.
Mallao is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paneda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mallao connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Paneda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mallao is defended easily by Paneda.
Paneda slaps away a takedown attempt from Mallao, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Babsie Paneda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Mallao.
Mallao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paneda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Paneda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paneda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mallao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Paneda keeps the fight on the outside.
Mallao has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mallao is pawing at Paneda, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Paneda's nose. Paneda is badly hurt! Mallao pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Paneda tries desperately to hold on but Mallao is relentless in his assault! As Paneda receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mallao away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roger Mallao!
