Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Nazareth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent comes to the cage accompanied by BLUNT- . Chad Nazareth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Kent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Chad Nazareth! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nazareth fails with the takedown. Nazareth misses with a takedown attempt - Kent sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kent staying out of range there. Kent shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Nazareth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kent moves away. Nazareth takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kent throws a push kick but Nazareth slaps the foot to one side. Kent throws a head kick that misses. Nazareth takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nazareth looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Nazareth seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Kent has recovered full guard. Kent is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nazareth trying to control but Kent is working from the bottom. Kent avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nazareth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kent works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nazareth stopping the sweep attempt from Kent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nazareth missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nazareth throws a strike but Kent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kent tries to free his leg and advance position but Nazareth is retaining full guard. Kent is working hard here to advance position. Nazareth scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kent lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nazareth throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kent. Kent misses with a hook. Nazareth ducked under it nicely. Kent fakes the leg kick and cracks Nazareth in the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nazareth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A nice inside leg kick there by Kent. That's going to slow Nazareth down. Nazareth goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kent throws a nice outside leg kick. Kent throws a quick inside leg kick. Nazareth on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kent pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fighters circling - Nazareth throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nazareth works over Kent's head and body with a nice combination. Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kent looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Nazareth throws a series of punches but Kent moves out of range. Nazareth cracks Kent with a good jab. Kent misses with a straight right. Kent throws a sloppy head kick and Nazareth moves out of range easily. Nazareth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kent slaps away a takedown attempt from Nazareth, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jim Kent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Nazareth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent throws a nice looking combination but Nazareth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kent's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kent duly obliges. Kent throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Nazareth blocks the body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kent. That's going to slow Nazareth down. Kent throws a nice head kick!
Kent throws a head kick that misses. Kent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nazareth tries to avoid it but Kent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nazareth to the ground. Nazareth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kent is breathing heavily. Nazareth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kent manages to avoid it. Kent avoids the head kick by Nazareth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kent slips a jab and a cross from Nazareth.
Kent throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nazareth's head. A jab from Kent misses. Nazareth throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jim Kent will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
An inside leg kick from Kent misses. Kent throws a hook to the side of Nazareth's head but Nazareth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kent misses with a low kick. Kent misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nazareth throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. Nazareth misses with a looping left. Nazareth takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kent throws a head kick that misses and Nazareth counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nazareth throws a series of punches but Kent moves out of range. Nazareth does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. No joy there for Nazareth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nazareth throws a head kick that misses. Kent shoots in and gets a takedown into Nazareth's guard. Nazareth controls Kent momentarily but Kent frees himself. Nazareth wants to get back to his feet but Kent is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kent looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nazareth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nazareth wants to stand but Kent is controlling the position. Kent loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kent postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kent looking to sit in guard and control but Nazareth gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nazareth controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nazareth works over Kent with some ground and pound from guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nazareth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nazareth scoring with punches to the head and body. Kent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nazareth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nazareth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nazareth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kent working a defensive guard but Nazareth manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nazareth working the ground and pound from side control. Kent manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nazareth's best efforts. Nazareth drops an elbow to the side of Kent's head. Kent has hold of Nazareth's hands but Nazareth slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kent is staying active underneath Nazareth, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kent wants to improve his position but Nazareth is controlling well.
Nazareth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kent does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chad Nazareth has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kent tries to get to full guard but Nazareth has control of the leg. Kent blocking the ground and pound attempt from Nazareth. Nazareth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kent does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nazareth lands with a punch from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nazareth prevents Kent from improving his position. This has been an exciting period of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Nazareth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nazareth feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kents jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A clash of legs there as Nazareth blocks the low kick. Kent pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kent lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nazareth will feel that in the morning. Kent dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nazareth. That did some damage! Kent checks a low kick from Nazareth. Kent throws a sloppy head kick and Nazareth moves out of range easily. Sloppy strikes from Nazareth. Those never looked like landing. Nazareth misses the shot to the body. Kent takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheers as Nazareth lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kent doesn't seem phased though. Nazareth uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kent. Nazareth looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kent fakes the leg kick and cracks Nazareth in the body. No luck for Nazareth with that takedown attempt. Kent looks to land a right hand but Nazareth moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nazareth misses with a takedown attempt - Kent sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kent checks a leg kick. Kent throws a front kick aimed at Nazareth's knee but Nazareth avoids it well. Nazareth manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kent on his heels. He'll look to pass Kent's guard now, I'm sure. Nazareth stopping the sweep attempt from Kent. Nazareth throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kent throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nazareth postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kent keeping moving, preventing Nazareth from controlling successfully. Nazareth throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kent has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nazareth is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kent. Nazareth throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nazareth scores with punches from side control. Nazareth working the ground and pound. Nazareth working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kent is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nazareth connects with a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nazareth looks up at the clock and then as Kent takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nazareth smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nazareth lands a few punches from side control. Kent manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kent prevents Nazareth from improving his position. Nazareth gets full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Chad Nazareth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nazareth has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
