Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Kositzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean's entrance music is Eminem - Till I Collapse. A fine choice. Kositzky has chosen Ocean Breathes Salty as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Nils Kositzky! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dean fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kositzky shoots and misses and Dean counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kositzky thinking. Dean is looking to clinch but Kositzky is avoiding it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dean. Kositzky does a little dance to reset his feet. Dean tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kositzky sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dean somewhat. Dean changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kositzky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dean content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Dean in side control, throwing shots but Kositzky defends. Kositzky takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dean postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Kositzky is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dean throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kositzky works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kositzky looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dean throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kositzky is looking to escape. Dean is just content to waste time from the top position. Kositzky takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Dean has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dean tries to free his leg and advance position but Kositzky is retaining full guard. Kositzky controls Dean momentarily but Dean frees himself. Dean working some strikes from top position. Kositzky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kositzky is trying to keep Dean in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean with a flurry of punches that miss. Kositzky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dean accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dean trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dean trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kositzky manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Dean is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kositzky looking to sit in guard and control but Dean gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kositzky working for a triangle but Dean defends it easily.
Dean throws a big elbow that misses. Kositzky is trying to control the position but Dean postures up. Dean wants to control from the top but Kositzky keeps moving. Kositzky trying to keep a closed guard but Dean is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dean loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dean trying to control the position from guard on top but Kositzky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean throws an elbow that misses. Kositzky uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dean's guard. Nice move by Kositzky! Dean seems keen to control Kositzky's posture.
Eddie Dean has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kositzky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dean throws a right hand that Kositzky ducks under and follows up with a left that Kositzky also avoids with ease. Dean shoots in looking for a takedown. Kositzky tries to sprawl out of it but Dean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kositzky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dean!

Kositzky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kositzky circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kositzky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dean pinned against the cage. Dean gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kositzky shoots for a takedown but Dean saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Eddie Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Kositzky. Dean fails with a takedown attempt. Dean leaves Kositzky with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kositzky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dean as he jumps to the side. Dean drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dean trying to advance position but Kositzky counters by regaining guard. Dean wants to control from the top but Kositzky keeps moving. Dean in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kositzky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dean defends well. Dean wants to control from the top but Kositzky keeps moving. Dean not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nils Kositzky. Dean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kositzky's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Dean looking to pass the guard. Kositzky has his foot on Dean's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dean works his way back into a safe position though. Dean throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kositzky trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kositzky wants to sweep here but Dean controlling him for the moment. Dean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kositzky swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Dean dominated that second round. That's time! Dean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Kositzky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kositzky in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dean is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kositzky wants to control from the top but Dean keeps moving. Dean can't keep his opponent in guard - Kositzky advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kositzky decides to stand and escape the position. Kositzky shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dean but Dean pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kositzky fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kositzky moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dean scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dean. Kositzky closes the distance and clinches up with Dean, looking for a takedown. Kositzky pushes Dean against the cage but Dean circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Eddie Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Kositzky. Kositzky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kositzky sprawls well. Kositzky wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dean gets slowly back to his feet. Dean stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nils Kositzky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kositzky closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dean did well to prevent Kositzky getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dean is trying to stand up here but Kositzky is controlling him well. Kositzky is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dean doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kositzky. Kositzky seems to be looking for submissions.
Eddie Dean is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dean scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Kositzky manages to mount him!

That's four minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Dean really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kositzky landing strikes, looking to finish! Kositzky trying to control but Dean is having none of it. Kositzky moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dean has worked his arm free - good work by Dean!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kositzky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Nils Kositzky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dean has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
