Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gzrel Mephistopheles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mephistopheles comes into the arena with - blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Mephistopheles counter with a right hand.
Mephistopheles missing with a left hand there. Hardy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A clash of legs there as Mephistopheles blocks the low kick.
Mephistopheles scores with a hook to the body. Hardy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hardy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hardy!
Hardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mephistopheles steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hardy. That one must have hurt.

and Hardy counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mephistopheles is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Hardy tries to bum rush Mephistopheles with a series of wild strikes but Mephistopheles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hardy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mephistopheles circles away quickly and effectively.

Mephistopheles catches Hardy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That was a close round but I would say that Gzrel Mephistopheles will probably get the nod.

Hardy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mephistopheles finds it's way round the side to connect with Hardy's head.

Mephistopheles throws an overhand right that drops Hardy like a sack of potatoes! Mephistopheles dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
