Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica Enter Sandman . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Henderson seems to be working for a kimura but Smith defends the submission attempt.
Smith is controlling Henderson's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Henderson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Smith manages to pass to side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
