Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Eberhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eberhart comes to the cage accompanied by South Side. Fadden has chosen From Hell by Faces Of Mars as his entrance music. Andrew Eberhart could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Fadden's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fadden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fadden landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Fadden is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eberhart has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fadden working away.
Eberhart gets back to half guard.

Eberhart looking for subs from the bottom but Fadden mounts him!
Fadden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eberhart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eberhart tries to lock up and control but Fadden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Eberhart sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Eberhart tries to roll over but Fadden keeps him under control.

Fadden looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fadden decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Fadden has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Eberhart is trying to keep an underhook but Fadden manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Eberhart is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fadden pulls his head out easily.

Eberhart has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fadden is working away from the top position though.
Fadden scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fadden connects with a nice short shot to Eberhart's temple.
Eberhart gets full guard.

Eberhart is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fadden defends well.
Fadden is looking to work some ground and pound but Eberhart has wrist control.
Fadden must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Eberhart has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Fadden. Oh but Eberhart has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Fadden goes limp - he's gone! Eberhart jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
