Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arvid Nordemar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nordemar. Nordemar obviously looking to wear him down.
Barry shoots in for a double leg but Nordemar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nordemar.

Barry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nordemar lands with a nice body kick.
Barry moves out of range as Nordemar throws a body kick.
Barry takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Barry stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nordemar.

Barry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nordemar pinned against the cage. Nordemar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Barry sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nordemar lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nordemar rushes Barry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Barry swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Nordemar manages to break the clinch.
Nordemar moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nordemar defends it nicely.
Barry fails with a takedown attempt.
Nordemar throws a front kick that sends Barry stumbling back into the cage.

Nordemar moves into range and clinches up with Barry.
Nordemar scores with a knee to the head.
Still in the clinch, Nordemar scores with a nice short uppercut.
Barry drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nordemar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Barry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Nordemar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barry darts in trying to clinch
and Nordemar makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Barry really felt that one!
Nordemar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nordemar lands a big head kick that sends Barry tumbling to the mat! Nordemar takes a step backwards and waves Barry back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Barry is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barry wants to stay close but Nordemar steps back to make room for something. Barry seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Nordemar and Barry drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
