Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Punch Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Big J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big J has chosen Platinum Skull as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big J shoots in for a double leg but Out sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Out moves into the clinch.
Out tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Out pushes Big J back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Out really is a fat lump.
Out misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Big J goes for a takedown attempt but Out pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Out clinches with his opponent.
Big J is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Out is defending well.
Punch Out has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Big J.
Out gets through Big J's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Big J blocks an uppercut.

Out throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Big J tries to score a body lock takedown but Out shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Big J is working for takedown but Out is calmly controlling the position for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Out creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Big J is working for takedown but Out is calmly controlling the position for now.

Out looking to throw knees to the head but Big J is blocking nicely.

Out tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Big J is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Out can't fight it off and eventually Big J manages to take the fight to the floor. Out looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Out preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Out trying to keep a closed guard but Big J is proving a slippery customer.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Big J's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Big J distracts Out with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Big J working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Big J engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Big J forces his way into half guard.
Out might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Out wants to control but Big J is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Big J looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Out with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Big J winds up and cracks Out with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Out keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Big J thows a huge punch but Out dodges it nicely.
Out has hold of Big J's hands but Big J slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Out slaps away a takedown attempt from Big J, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Out tries to clinch but Big J moves out of range.
Out throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Big J showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Big J unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Out wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Big J celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

A relieved looking John Big J thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
