Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Aguiar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Aguiar! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aguiar. Aguiar shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Aguiar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Aguiar. Aguiar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Aguiar shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aguiar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Aguiar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Diaz is breathing heavily. Aguiar is looking for a kimura here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Aguiar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Diaz manages to avoid the submission attempt. Aguiar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguiar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aguiar is trying to get an arm triangle but Diaz is defending well. Aguiar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Aguiar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aguiar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Aguiar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Aguiar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Diaz scores with a nice strike. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Aguiar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Aguiar with a lazy takedown attempt and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Aguiar. Aguiar fails with the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Diaz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Felipe Aguiar has been cut. No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz looks to land a combination. Aguiar sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Diaz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Aguiar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aguiar somewhat. Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Diaz stuffs the takedown. Diaz throws a right and a left that Aguiar avoids nicely. Aguiar shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Aguiar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Aguiar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aguiar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aguiar somewhat. Diaz looks to land a left hand but Aguiar moved out of range nicely. Excellent takedown into side control there by Aguiar. Diaz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diaz tries to get out of the position. Aguiar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Aguiar in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Diaz is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
