Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Pagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Ogletree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rolando Pagan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zac Ogletree! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ogletree fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pagan sprawls well initially but Ogletree persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ogletree prevents Pagan from improving his position. Ogletree looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ogletree is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pagan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pagan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ogletree is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ogletree's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pagan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pagan looking to control but Ogletree is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pagan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pagan with the ground and pound from mount. Ogletree tries to lock up and control but Pagan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ogletree keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ogletree avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pagan.
Ogletree tries to reverse the position but Pagan maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ogletree tries to hold on but Pagan postures up. Pagan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ogletree has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ogletree! Ogletree stays in close to Pagan's body and controls the position. Pagan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ogletreeis looking to pass into half guard but Pagan pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pagan is in guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ogletree is adopting a defensive guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pagan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pagan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pagan is looking to work some ground and pound but Ogletree has wrist control. Pagan trying to control but Ogletree is working from the bottom. Pagan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pagan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ogletree is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pagan is controlling him. Pagan wants to stand but Ogletree has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ogletree can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pagan forces Ogletree back against the cage and clinches. Ogletree missing with knees to the body.
Pagan fails to pull guard.
Pagan jumps guard but Ogletree stands there with Pagan around his waist. Pagan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pagan trying to control the position but instead, Ogletree has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pagan into the cage. Pagan fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rolando Pagan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pagan tries to close the distance and clinch but Ogletree swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pagan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pagan misses with a takedown attempt - Ogletree sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ogletree throws a right and a left that Pagan avoids nicely. Ogletree tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pagan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pagan moves in looking to clinch but Ogletree pushes him off. Pagan tries to clinch up. Ogletree thows a body shot but no joy. Pagan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rolando Pagan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ogletree throws a head kick that misses. Ogletree shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pagan as he avoids it easily. Pagan shoots for a takedown but Ogletree saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogletree wants to clinch. Pagan throws a sloppy head kick and Ogletree moves out of range easily. Pagan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Pagan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ogletree moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pagan misses with a wild combination.
Pagan tries to sprawl but Ogletree drives through with a takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ogletree sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pagan is trying to maintain the position but Ogletree is very close to passing his half guard. Pagan trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Ogletree tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pagan tries to hold on but Ogletree postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ogletree landing strikes, looking to finish! Ogletree fails to take his opponent's back. Pagan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ogletree in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ogletree looking to finish Pagan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pagan! Pagan is trying to escape the mount.
Pagan is just holding on here. Ogletree manages to take his back.
Pagan tries to escape but Ogletree has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ogletree looking for the RNC. Ogletree controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zac Ogletree showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ogletree stuffs the takedown. Pagan closes the distance and pushes Ogletree back into the cage. Ogletree wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A punch combination from Pagan misses. Pagan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ogletree. Ogletree circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pagan closes the distance looking to clinch and Ogletree counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pagan won't be happy with that. Pagan is looking for a sweep. Ogletree is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pagan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ogletree takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ogletree tries to advance to mount but can't. Pagan is trying to buck Ogletree off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pagan taking a bit of punishment here - Ogletree scoring with strikes. Pagan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ogletree tries to score with some ground and pound. Pagan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Ogletree is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pagan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ogletree in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pagan is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
