Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vito Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mccarthey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vito Ferrari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Mccarthey! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mccarthey walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ferrari. Mccarthey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ferrari throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Ferrari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferrari misses with a body shot.
Mccarthey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ferrari stuffs the takedown attempt from Mccarthey. Mccarthey gets slowly back to his feet. Mccarthey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrari tries to avoid it but Mccarthey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrari to the ground. Ferrari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Ferrari tries to clinch but Mccarthey is having none of it. Mccarthey has a takedown stuffed. Vito Ferrari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Mccarthey. Ferrari wants to clinch. Ferrari tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mccarthey was well out of range. Poor timing from Ferrari.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Ferrari looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mccarthey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good exchange - Ferrari coming out on top. Mccarthey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ferrari as he avoids it easily. Ferrari is looking to clinch but Mccarthey is avoiding it.
Ferrari stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ferrari wants it to stay on the feet. Mccarthey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ferrari pinned against the cage. Ferrari gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ferrari lands a nice hook to Mccarthey's body. Mccarthey takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mccarthey looks gassed! Ferrari lands a front kick. Ferrari changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ferrari is looking to wear down Mccarthey with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice body kick there by Ferrari.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferrari swinging wildly here.
Ferrari cracks Mccarthey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mccarthey is rocked! Ferrari drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mccarthey right on the button. Mccarthey goes down! Ferrari follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Ferrari gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vito Ferrari!
