Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otou Hek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kolanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hek comes to the cage accompanied by Tha Playah. Max Kolanko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otou Hek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Kolanko! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolanko fails with a takedown attempt. Hek swinging wildly here.
Kolanko has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hek. No joy there for Hek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hek tries to clinch up but Kolanko circles away and keeps his distance. Kolanko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kolanko swings for the body but Hek moves out of range.
Hek throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kolanko was covering up waiting for the punch and Hek finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kolanko wants to sweep but no luck. Hek is pushing down on Kolanko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kolanko is fighting to maintain full guard but Hek has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolanko desperately trying to maintain half guard. Kolanko blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hek. Kolanko looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kolanko is controlling Hek's position as best he can from this difficult position. Hek missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kolanko is controlling Hek's trapped leg to prevent Hek from advancing to side control. Hek missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hek is looking for a kimura but Kolanko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hek to get the leverage. Kolanko trying to control but Hek postures up.
Hek not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hek is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kolanko has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolanko desperately trying to maintain half guard. Hek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hek seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kolanko is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
