Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beam.
Beam throws a series of punches but Manchu avoids them all with ease.
Manchu drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Manchu slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Manchu looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Beam struggling a bit here.
Manchu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Beam has escaped the position, nice work there.
Manchu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Manchu is looking to take a break and control but Beam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beam tries to reverse the position but Manchu maintains control.

Beam sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Beam wants to get back to full guard.
Manchu is trying for a kimura here. Beam looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Manchu wins by kimura!
