9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Bitoy Bellfoot! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaki Sumitani! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sumitani blocks a leg kick. Sumitani scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Bitoy Bellfoot has been cut. Sumitani misses with a straight right. Sumitani lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sumitani wants to land a leg kick but Bellfoot is out of range. Some wild striking there from Sumitani.
Sumitani lands a big head kick that sends Bellfoot tumbling to the mat! Sumitani takes a step backwards and waves Bellfoot back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bellfoot is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bellfoot avoids the head kick by Sumitani.
Oh Bellfoot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sumitani throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bellfoot seems to have got his legs back now. Sumitani missing with a left hand there. Bellfoot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bellfoot just misses with a punch to the body.
Masaki Sumitani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bellfoot avoids the head kick by Sumitani.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sumitani tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sumitani misses with a low kick. Bellfoot moves out of range of the leg kick from Sumitani. Sumitani on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bellfoot drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sumitani can do anything to dispel that myth. Bellfoot scores with punches from side control. Bellfoot working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bellfoot staying calm. Bellfoot has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Sumitani!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bellfoot is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bellfoot has isolated one of Sumitani's arms. Sumitani looking to fight him off but Bellfoot twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
