Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Vine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Diego Brandao was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandao darts in and clinches Vine up against the cage.
Brandao using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vine has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Vine breaks from the clinch.

Brandao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vine shoots in looking for a takedown but Brandao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vine's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vine gets control of Brandao's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vine will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Vine shoots in looking for a takedown. Brandao tries to sprawl out of it but Vine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brandao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Brandao counters with a big head kick but Vine shrugs it off.

Brandao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vine.

Vine shoots in and drives through. Brandao sprawls well.
Brandao lands a nice shot that snaps Vine's head back.
Brandao throws a nice looking combination but Vine bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vine shoots in but Brandao avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brandao tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brandao doesn't manage to clinch there - Vine circles away.
Vine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brandao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Brandao counters with a head kick that drops Vine to the mat! Vine scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Brandao seems to be stalking Vine here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Vine drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
