Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nike Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader has chosen Imperial March as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader cracks a nice hook into Dallas's ribs. Vader bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dallas's head backwards.
It looks like Nike Dallas has been cut. Dallas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vader. Dallas displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vader throws out the jab. Dallas ducks under a wild hook from Vader. Dallas moves in looking to clinch but Vader pushes him off. Vader misses with a hook. A big left from Vader misses. Vader waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dallas. Dallas moves away from the strike by Vader. Vader gets tackled into the cage by Dallas. Dallas maintains the clinch. Dallas has Vader pushed against the cage. Dallas misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Vader pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dallas is looking to land body kicks. Vader circles away from the clinch attempt and Vader counters with a straight right hand. Dallas defending well as Vader loads up on a big left hand. Vader throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dallas sees it coming and avoids it easily. Darth Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dallas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dallas decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Vader blocks a low kick nicely. Dallas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vader paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dallas moves into range and clinches up with Vader. Vader wants to get back to striking at distance but Dallas won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vader prevents Dallas from breaking the clinch. Dallas has picked Vader up - he's going for a ride! Dallas dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dallas is looking to take a break and control but Vader is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dallas performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nike Dallas just wasn't active enough. Dallas darts in trying to clinch enabling Vader to counter with a crisp jab. Dallas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vader manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Vader keeping moving, preventing Dallas from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dallas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nike Dallas has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Vader throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vader misses with a looping left. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dallas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vader manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dallas is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nike Dallas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nike Dallas's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dallas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vader. Nice defenses there by Dallas. Nike Dallas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dallas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vader moves away. Dallas scores a takedown into full mount! You get the feeling that Vader really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dallas wants to control the action but instead Vader gets a body lock and reverses into Dallas's guard! Nice work!
That's one minute gone in the round. Vader trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dallas's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dallas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nike Dallas wasn't doing enough on the ground. Dallas gets a double leg takedown into Vader's guard. Vader keeping moving, preventing Dallas from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nike Dallas. Vader throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dallas counters with a shoot takedown. Vader fights it but they end up in guard. Dallas gets to his feet. Vader looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Vader throws a jab when Dallas was well out of range. Dallas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vader manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dallas trying to control but Vader is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nike Dallas has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dallas scores with a takedown into Vader's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nike Dallas wasn't doing enough on the ground. Vader misses with an uppercut. A slow jab from Vader misses its intended target. Dallas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dallas showed some decent athleticism there. Dallas wants to pass to mount but Vader is defending the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dallas wants to take a breather but Vader is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vader lands a glancing blow to the side of Dallas's head. Dallas ducks under a wild hook from Vader. Vader misses with a straight left. Vader might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A big right from Vader misses. Dallas misses with a wild combination.
Dallas motions for Vader to come forward. Dallas throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dallas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vader sprawls well initially but Dallas persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nike Dallas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dallas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vader keeps working. Dallas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dallas is stalling here. Vader is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dallas seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Vader has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Dallas bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Dallas doesn't manage to clinch there - Vader circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vader throws a big shot that misses. Vader works Dallas's body with a nice hook. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Vader misses with a left hand and Dallas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dallas. Dallas advances to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dallas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Vader is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vader pushes Dallas off and gets back to his feet. Dallas throws a head kick but Vader moves out of range.
Vader throws a hook but Dallas avoids it easily. Vader throws out a powerful jab. Dallas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Vader cracks Dallas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vader throws a jab but it's blocked by Dallas. Dallas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dallas thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dallas trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dallas can't control as he wanted to and Vader manages to get the fight back to his half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vader is trying to stand back up but Dallas is controlling him
And that's the end of the fight! Nike Dallas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dallas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
