The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jennings looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sapp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jennings looking for a guillotine here but Sapp defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Sapp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jennings swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jennings is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sapp throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jennings's body to avoid the submission. Jennings has instead reached around Sapp's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jennings arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
