Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boris JorJovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yurik Khripunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khripunov wants to clinch but JorJovsky slips to the side

and JorJovsky counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

JorJovsky has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Khripunov uses from the top position.

JorJovsky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Khripunov lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Khripunov is looking to sinch up a triangle. JorJovsky throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Khripunov 's body to avoid the submission. Khripunov has instead reached around JorJovsky's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Khripunov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
