Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rab Truesdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wayne Serra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rab Truesdale! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serra is looking to clinch but Truesdale is avoiding it.
Serra is looking to slow Truesdale down with leg kicks. Truesdale throws a head kick but Serra moves out of range.
Serra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Truesdale swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wayne Serra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Truesdale has closed the distance and engaged Serra in a clinch.

It looks like Rab Truesdale has been cut. Serra breaks from the clinch.
Truesdale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Serra tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Truesdale holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Serra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Truesdale shoots in and bounces Serra off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Truesdale stands up from Serra's guard - Truesdale perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Truesdale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Serra throws a lazy head kick and Truesdale counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Truesdale seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Truesdale landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Truesdale looking to pass the guard. Truesdale scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Truesdale is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Truesdale is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rab Truesdale. Serra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No luck with that takedown attempt from Truesdale. Truesdale fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Serra sprawls well initially but Truesdale persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Serra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Truesdale on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Truesdale performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Truesdale sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Serra defending well though. Truesdale stops Serra from getting back to his feet.
Truesdale with the ground and pound but Serra uses the opportunity to regain guard. Serra is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Truesdale stands and throws Serra's legs to the side, diving into side control. Truesdale is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Serra's shoulder. That is not cool. Truesdale stands up. Serra misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Truesdale fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Serra sprawls well initially but Truesdale persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rab Truesdale dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rab Truesdale's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Truesdale throws a right and a left that both miss. Serra moves in looking to clinch but Truesdale pushes him off. Truesdale darts in and clinches Serra up against the cage. Truesdale cracks Serra with a nice body shot. Truesdale manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Truesdale breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Serra tries to clinch but Truesdale moves away and Truesdale counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Truesdale decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. This has been an exciting period of action! Serra lands a head kick!
Truesdale closes the distance and clinches. Serra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Truesdale fails to land the takedown. Serra looks to throw the jab but Truesdale is out of range. Serra tries to clinch so Truesdale counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Truesdale gets to his feet. Serra looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Truesdale lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Truesdale fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Serra moves to clinch but Truesdale breaks away and Truesdale counters with a body kick that stops Serra in his tracks momentarily. Truesdale moves into range and clinches up with Serra. Serra is looking to control Truesdale's arms but Truesdale gets an underhook and turns him. Now Serra has his back to the cage. Serra wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Truesdale escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Truesdale shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wayne Serra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rab Truesdale. Serra throws a right and a left that both miss. Serra throws a head kick but Truesdale moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Truesdale is defended easily by Serra. Serra lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Serra. Truesdale throws a head kick but Serra moves out of range.

Serra throws a sloppy head kick and Truesdale counters with a single leg into guard. Serra didn't expect that. Truesdale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Serra swivels though and keeps the full guard. Truesdale content to stall in guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rab Truesdale. Truesdale darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Truesdale works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Truesdale with a couple of short strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Truesdale sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rab Truesdale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rab Truesdale's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Serra throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Truesdale closes the distance and pushes Serra back into the cage. Serra is trying to force a seperation but Truesdale has the dominant position. Truesdale taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Truesdale tries to pull guard but Serra forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Serra throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Truesdale blocks it with crossed arms. Truesdale is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Serra wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Serra looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Serra is looking to break free of the clinch but Truesdale has double underhooks. Serra looking to throw knees to the head but Truesdale is blocking nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Truesdale breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra tries to clinch up. Truesdale gets in close and instigates a clinch. Truesdale manages to break the clinch.
Truesdale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Serra moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Serra enables Truesdale to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Serra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Truesdale is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rab Truesdale hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Serra lands with a kick to the temple. Truesdale shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Truesdale closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Serra's face as Truesdale controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Serra takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Truesdale in side control, throwing shots but Serra defends. Truesdale working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Truesdale slows the pace down.

Rab Truesdale has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Truesdale has Serra pressed against the cage.
Truesdale drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Serra gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Truesdale gets a trip takedown into half guard. Truesdale trying to work for an americana but Serra has managed to regain full guard.

Truesdale scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Truesdale stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Serra to get to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Truesdale plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
