Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Langdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Slay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slay has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Triumph as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Langdon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Cassius Slay! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slay lets loose with a powerful body kick. Langdon will feel that in the morning. Langdon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Slay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Slay lands a leg kick that knocks Langdon off balance momentarily. Langdon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slay. Slay throws a leg kick which misses Langdon's front leg but catches the back leg as Langdon tries to avoid it. Slay throws a leg kick and Langdon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Slay pushes Langdon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slay misses with a body shot.
Langdon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slay. Langdon misses with a hook. Slay ducked under it nicely. Slay throws a chopping leg kick but Langdon manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Langdon misses. Langdon shoots and misses and Slay counters with a good low kick that Langdon was not able to check. A jab from Slay does it's job there. Cassius Slay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slay swings away with a leg kick that misses. Slay misses with a head kick.
Slay lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Langdon backs up against the cage.
Slay feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Langdon's calf. Slay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Langdon misses with a takedown attempt - Slay sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Langdon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Langdon looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langdon tries to free his leg and advance position but Slay is retaining full guard. Langdon content to stall in guard here. Langdon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slay can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Langdon trying to control the position from guard on top but Slay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Langdon is really struggling to control Slay but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Robert Langdon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Slay gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Slay pushes Langdon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Slay. Slay misses with a body punch.
Langdon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slay smiles and moves away.
Cassius Slay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slay lands with a kick to the ribs.
Slay connects with a solid leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Slay as Langdon shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slay thows a body shot but no joy. Slay slaps away a takedown attempt from Langdon, before circling back to the center of the mat. A shot to the liver by Slay. Beautiful body shot. That kick from Slay tenderised Langdon's leg. Langdon is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Langdon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Langdon showed some decent athleticism there. Slay is holding on to half guard well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slay pushes Langdon off looking to stand but Langdon dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slay is staying active underneath Langdon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cassius Slay dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Langdon missing with a left hand there. Slay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Slay throws a body punch but Langdon moves out of range. Slay throws the left hand but Langdon avoids the punch easily. Slay scores with a shot to the body.
Cassius Slay seems to be getting the better of the standup. Slay walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Langdon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Langdon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slay's waist but Slay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Langdon off to one side. Langdon misses with a wild body shot. Langdon shoots in for a double leg but Slay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jab, jab by Slay - just one landing. Langdon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slay paws at him with a jab and circles away. Slay slaps away a takedown attempt from Langdon, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Langdon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langdon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Slay throws a leg kick but Langdon moved away. Slay fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Slay moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Slay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Langdon.
Langdon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fight moves into the clinch position. A nice left hand lands by Slay.
Slay throws a punch but it's blocked by Langdon. Slay goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slay lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Good body shot from Slay.
Slay lands a right hand that snaps the head of Langdon backwards. Langdon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Slay misses with a punch to the body.
Slay lands with a short head shot on the inside. Slay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Langdon backwards. Slay misses with a body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Langdon is trying to drag Slay to the mat but Slay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Good body shot from Slay.
Slay misses with a knee strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langdon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Slay gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Slay tries a body shot but Langdon blocks it.
Nice body punch from Slay - that landed with a thud.
Slay lands with a left to the head. Slay looking to throw knees to the head but Langdon is blocking nicely.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Slay lands a hook to the side of the head. Slay can't find room to land a body shot as Langdon controls the action.
Slay goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Slay lands on the inside with an uppercut. Slay lands a body punch. Slay lands a body shot. A body shot lands from Slay.
Slay pushes Langdon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Slay lands a knee to the head.
Langdon is rocked!
It looks like Robert Langdon has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Slay working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Oh Langdon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Slay unloads a knee to the mid-section. Langdon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Slay lands an uppercut. Slay lands a shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A hook to the body from Slay.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Slay. Slay lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Langdon or not. Slay lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Langdon. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Slay. A short body shot lands from Slay as the two fighters clinch.
Slay lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Slay unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Langdon! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Slay is unloading with more strikes now! Langdon drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cassius Slay!
