Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock lands a leg kick that knocks Oliva off balance momentarily.
Rock on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Oliva.

Rock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lance Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliva looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rock tries to clinch there but Oliva circles away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Oliva - that will leave a mark!
Rock shoots in looking for a takedown. Oliva tries to sprawl out of it but Rock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oliva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rock looks gassed!
A low kick from Rock is predictable there
and Oliva counters with a slapping leg kick.
Oliva lands a big head kick that sends Rock tumbling to the mat! Oliva takes a step backwards and waves Rock back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rock is rocked!
It looks like Lance Rock has been cut.
Oliva scores with a spinning back kick!
Oliva looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Oliva backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Rock's temple! It sends Rock violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Oliva celebrates and the doctors try to help Rock!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Samir Oliva!
