Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jenji Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Chimal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda comes to the ring accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chimal's choice of entrance music: LAS GOLONDRINAS! mexican way to say FAREWELL Is retirement fight for Chimal. Jenji Ueda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jenji Ueda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Armando Chimal!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chimal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ueda's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ueda keeping moving, preventing Chimal from controlling successfully.

Ueda is working an open guard so Chimal takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Chimal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ueda lands a nice hook to Chimal's body. Chimal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ueda. Chimal does a little dance to reset his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Jenji Ueda will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Chimal decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Ueda darts in and clinches Chimal up against the ropes.

Chimal is looking to break free of the clinch but Ueda has double underhooks.
