Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takonori Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takonori Barton! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White pushes Barton up against the cage in a clinch. White is pushing Barton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. White drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barton tries to pull guard but White forces him back to his feet, against the cage. White wants the takedown. Barton is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barton's guard against the cage. White content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barton wants to stand and escape but White is having none of it. White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Barton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as White controls the pace. Barton throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. White sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Barton's guard. Barton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nice strikes from White there. White scores with a couple of good hammerfists. White is controlling the pace.
Barton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though. Barton has hold of White's hands but White slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. White lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barton tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg. White perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. White prevents Barton from improving his position. White stands up out of the half guard. Barton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barton gets slowly back to his feet. Barton shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adam White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takonori Barton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. White fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barton tries to clinch there but White circles away.
Nice sprawl there from White as Barton shoots in. Barton looks gassed! White fails with an attempt to clinch.
White moves in looking to clinch but Barton pushes him off. Barton throws a head kick that misses. Barton looks for a takedown but White sprawls well. Barton fails with the takedown. White pushes Barton up against the cage in a clinch. White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. White moves into the clinch successfully.

Barton is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables White to keep the fight standing. Barton wants to break free but White has control.
White wants the takedown. Barton is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barton's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Barton looking for a sweep. Not yet Barton, not yet. White with a nice head shot there. White scoring with punches to the head and body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White slips nicely into half guard. White controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam White dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Barton shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Barton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. White shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Barton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. White working some strikes from top position. Barton can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. White lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. White slows the pace down in half guard. White in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Barton tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from White!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Adam White! After the fight, Adam White was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
