Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Niedzwiedzki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poppa Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jethro Tull- Locomotive Breath . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bear looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Niedzwiedzki looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bear keeping full guard, as Niedzwiedzki tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Niedzwiedzki throws a strike but Bear rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Niedzwiedzki pulls Bear in to control the position.
Bear works over Niedzwiedzki with some ground and pound from guard.
Niedzwiedzki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bear postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bear is looking to work some ground and pound but Niedzwiedzki has wrist control.
Niedzwiedzki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bear defends it easily.

Bear sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Niedzwiedzki's guard.
Niedzwiedzki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bear wants to pass the guard but Niedzwiedzki is keeping the position.

Niedzwiedzki is looking for the choke from the back position but Bear is controlling his hands well.
Bear is in a bad position with Niedzwiedzki working for a choke. Bear manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Bear in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Niedzwiedzki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bear is trying to maintain the position but Niedzwiedzki is very close to passing his half guard.
Niedzwiedzki not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Niedzwiedzki passes the guard and advances to mount!
Bear is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bear is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Niedzwiedzki sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Niedzwiedzki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bear is looking to escape.

Bear tries to escape but Niedzwiedzki has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Niedzwiedzki is cranking Bear's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bear! He's tightened the choke and Bear is tapping out!
