Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Fotoberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redd comes to the cage accompanied by We Will Rock You. Fotoberg is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mama said Knock you out. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Redd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mats Fotoberg! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fotoberg takes the fight into the clinch. Fotoberg can't break the clinch.
Fotoberg working hard to break the clinch. Redd jumps guard but Fotoberg stands there with Redd around his waist. Redd gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Redd has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fotoberg uses from the top position. Redd had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fotoberg defends it easily. Redd is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Redd looking for a guillotine here but Fotoberg defends easily.
Fotoberg wants to pass the guard but Redd is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redd trying to control the position.
Fotoberg tries to stand but Redd is controlling from the bottom. Fotoberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Redd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Redd had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fotoberg defends it easily. Redd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Redd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fotoberg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redd looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fotoberg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Redd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fotoberg has managed to get both his arms back between Redd's legs - danger averted. Fotoberg wants to pass the guard but Redd is keeping the position. Fotoberg trying to stand up but can't free himself from Redd's guard. Redd working for submissions but it's allowed Fotoberg to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fotoberg wants to stand but Redd has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Redd manages to get to full guard.
Redd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fotoberg is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Redd looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fotoberg is defending well. Redd quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fotoberg has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Redd celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jake Redd! A very excited looking Jake Redd rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
