Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitali Pfeifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Do! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vitali Pfeifer! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pfeifer.

Do connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Pfeifer tests Do's chin there with a solid looking shot. Danga de danga de dang - Pfeifer scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Daniel Do has been cut. Do throws a looping overhand right but Pfeifer ducks down to avoid it. Pfeifer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Do looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pfeifer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Do. Do shoots in for a takedown but Pfeifer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pfeifer throws a hook but Do avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do tries to clinch up but Pfeifer circles away and keeps his distance. Pfeifer swats away the attempt to clinch by Do. A solid leg kick lands there for Pfeifer.
Do fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Do tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pfeifer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Do closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pfeifer wants to improve his position but Do is controlling well.

Do prevents Pfeifer from improving his position. Do not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Do thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pfeifer's head. Do controlling the action here. Pfeifer is not content to let Do control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pfeifer looks like he's trying to stand up.

and Pfeifer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A jab from Do misses. Do takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Do on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Pfeifer cracks Do with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Do moves into the clinch. Do has Pfeifer pressed against the cage, preventing Pfeifer from circling away and getting back to striking at range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pfeifer tries to circle away but Do has him pinned against the cage. Pfeifer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pfeifer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Pfeifer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Pfeifer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Do scores with a jab to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pfeifer lands a right hook to the body.

Do tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pfeifer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Do somewhat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pfeifer ducks under a wild hook from Do. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Do will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Daniel Do's cut. That's time! Do's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pfeifer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Do takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Do with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pfeifer to score with a decent uppercut. Do is looking to clinch but Pfeifer is avoiding it.
Pfeifer looks to land a combination but Do avoids it well. Do stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Do ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pfeifer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round. Do shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Do bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pfeifer stops Do from passing to mount. Pfeifer trying his best to control but Do has mounted him. Pfeifer tries to hold on but Do pushes him away. Pfeifer is trying desperately to improve position. Pfeifer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pfeifer is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Pfeifer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Do controlling the pace for now. Do's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pfeifer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Do is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pfeifer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pfeifer shrugs it off. Pfeifer is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Do is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pfeifer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Daniel Do seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Pfeifer is trying to force a seperation but Do has the dominant position. A frustrated look appears on Pfeifer's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pfeifer can't break the clinch.
Pfeifer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pfeifer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Do has hold of one of Pfeifer's legs. Pfeifer is fighting the takedown attempt but Do gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Do stops Pfeifer from standing up.
