Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Wisniewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Labayen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wisniewski comes to the cage accompanied by Vienio & Pele - To jest moj hardcore. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pawel Wisniewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlo Labayen! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Labayen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Labayen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Labayen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Labayen throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. A kick lands to the mid section there for Labayen. Carlo Labayen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wisniewski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Labayen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Labayen. Wisniewski preventing the sweep. Labayen has his foot on Wisniewski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wisniewski works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Labayen wants to stand and escape but Wisniewski is having none of it. Labayen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Wisniewski wants to control from the top but Labayen keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wisniewski advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wisniewski wants to pass to mount but Labayen is defending the position. Wisniewski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wisniewski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wisniewski wants to control the pace but Labayen is squirming around nicely. Wisniewski looking to control and managing it successfully. Wisniewski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wisniewski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Labayen tries to hold on but Wisniewski postures up. Labayen is squirming around, avoiding Wisniewski's attempts to control the action. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Labayen is trying desperately to improve position. Wisniewski looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Labayen is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wisniewski avoids the attempt from Labayen to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Labayen is squirming around, avoiding Wisniewski's attempts to control the action. Wisniewski with the ground and pound from mount. Wisniewski working for a guillotine from mount but Labayen is in no mood to give up. Wisniewski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Labayen is surviving well by controlling Wisniewski's body position as best he can. Labayen is trying desperately to improve position.

Labayen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wisniewski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Labayen is looking to escape. Wisniewski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Labayen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wisniewski seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Labayen is holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pawel Wisniewski dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Labayen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wisniewski manages to avoid it. Wisniewski misses with a wild body shot. Labayen connects with a body shot. Wisniewski throws out a loose jab but Labayen uses good head movement to avoid it. Wisniewski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Labayen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Labayen pushes Wisniewski off looking to stand but Wisniewski dives back in and keeps control.
Wisniewski is thwarting Labayen's attempts to control the position. Labayen is staying active underneath Wisniewski, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wisniewski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Labayen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Labayen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Possibly, maybe, no Wisniewski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Labayen is trying to control Wisniewski's posture but Wisniewski avoids it. Wisniewski is trying to get an arm triangle but Labayen is defending well. Wisniewski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Labayen keeps working.

Possibly, maybe, no Wisniewski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wisniewski tries to score with some ground and pound. Labayen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Labayen is looking for a sweep. Wisniewski tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wisniewski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wisniewski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Labayen keeps working. Labayen tries to buck Wisniewski off but Wisniewski is having none of it. Wisniewski is putting a hurting on Labayen here, landing some big shots from side control. Labayen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wisniewski is looking to take a break and control but Labayen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wisniewski wants to free his trapped foot but Labayen is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pawel Wisniewski dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice shot by Wisniewski. A combination from Labayen does no damage. Wisniewski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Labayen did well to prevent Wisniewski getting side control. Labayen is trying to control but can't.
Wisniewski maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Labayen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wisniewski has cracked it and Labayen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wisniewski!
