Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thadius Quest!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quest throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reznik misses with the combination.
Quest walks into a stiff left hand from Reznik.


It looks like Thadius Quest has been cut.
Quest doesn't manage to clinch there - Reznik circles away.
Quest tries to clinch there but Reznik circles away.
Quest will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Quest thumps Reznik with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Quest fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Reznik avoids it really well and circles away.
Quest takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Trevor Reznik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quest gets caught napping as Reznik dives in and scores a takedown. Quest manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Reznik with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quest tries to strike from the bottom.
Reznik prevents Quest from getting back to his feet.

Reznik stands up over Quest, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Reznik landing with the ground and pound.
Quest trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Quest avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Reznik working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Quest trying to control the position.
Quest utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reznik stopping the sweep attempt from Quest.
Quest has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Reznik chips away with some ground and pound.
Reznik scoring with punches to the head and body.

Reznik throws an elbow that misses. Quest uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reznik's guard. Nice move by Quest!
Reznik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reznik tries to get out of the position.
Reznik wants to get back to his feet but Quest is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Reznik could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Reznik can't keep his opponent in guard - Quest advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Quest wants to stand up but Reznik is controlling the position.
Reznik wants to control but Quest is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reznik tries to roll over but Quest keeps him under control.
Quest not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Quest keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Quest scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Quest perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thadius Quest wasn't active enough on the ground.
Quest has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Quest tries to clinch up
and Reznik counters with a right hand to the body.
Quest looks gassed!
Reznik lands the left hand.


That has opened up Thadius Quest's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab lands there for Reznik.
Reznik lunges at Quest with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Quest's hand.
Reznik lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Quest goes down and covers up as Reznik starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Reznik!
An out of breath Trevor Reznik thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
