The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith Jr misses with a head kick.
A nice combination there by Smith Jr.
The fighters circle momentarily. Smith Jr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Smith Jr scores with a kick to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roy shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Smith Jr clobbers Roy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Derek Roy has been cut.
Roy is breathing heavily.
Smith Jr scores with a jab to the body.
Smith Jr feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Roy crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lenzelle Smith Jr!
A very excited looking Lenzelle Smith Jr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
