The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukaka misses with an uppercut.
Gunner Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sukaka swivels and escapes.
Sukaka throws an overhand right that lands on Blue's shoulder, as Blue tries to avoid the shot.
Blue gets the takedown into side control.
Sukaka stops Blue from passing to mount.
Sukaka is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sukaka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Blue has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sukaka is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Blue yanks on the arm and Sukaka is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Blue.
