Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Silva blocks a head kick by Gabel.
Gabel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva scores with a hook.
Gabel blocks a jab.
Gabel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gabel tries to work over Silva's front leg with a kick but Silva checks it.

Silva instigates a clinch.

Gabel sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Silva tries to bum rush Gabel with a series of wild strikes but Gabel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Silva wants to clinch up but Gabel keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gabel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Gabel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gabel wants to break free but Silva has control.

Silva lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gabel.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silva.

Gabel is rocked!
Silva darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gabel's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Silva before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
