Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Rosenthal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosenthal comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Derringer - I Am a Real American. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Eli Williams enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Holden Rosenthal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Williams!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rosenthal looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Holden Rosenthal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rosenthal moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Williams shoots in and bounces Rosenthal off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Williams works over Rosenthal with some ground and pound from guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rosenthal swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Williams wants to control from the top but Rosenthal keeps moving.
Rosenthal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Williams wants to get back to full guard but Rosenthal has mounted him!

Rosenthal is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.

Williams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rosenthal's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams is keen to just control but Rosenthal is a slippery customer.
Rosenthal is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back!

The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rosenthal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Williams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rosenthal is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rosenthal and Williams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Williams misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Williams is looking to control Rosenthal's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?

Rosenthal gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Rosenthal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rosenthal throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and moves out of range.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rosenthal is looking to sweep but instead, Williams has passed into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Williams jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Holden Rosenthal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Williams clobbers Rosenthal with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Williams catches Rosenthal napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Rosenthal to the canvas!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Williams pulls Rosenthal in close to prevent any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Holden Rosenthal wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eli Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Eli Williams really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Revolution Fatigues logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
