Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Rosenthal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rosenthal might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rick Derringer - I Am a Real American. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Adam Bomb was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Holden Rosenthal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb tries to score with a low kick but Rosenthal moves his leg out of the way.
Rosenthal lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Bomb. No joy for Rosenthal on that attempt.
Rosenthal misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rosenthal takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bomb misses with a looping right.
Rosenthal throws a wild body kick that Bomb sees coming a mile off.
Rosenthal avoids the head kick by Bomb.

Bomb shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bomb keeping moving, preventing Rosenthal from controlling successfully.
Bomb really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rosenthal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Holden Rosenthal wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bomb misses with a head kick.
Rosenthal fails with a takedown attempt.
Bomb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Adam Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A jab from Rosenthal finds it's way through Bomb's defenses.

Rosenthal is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bomb's half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bomb goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bomb lands a nice shot to the body.
Rosenthal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bomb swivels and escapes.
Bomb stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bomb wants it to stay on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rosenthal. Bomb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rosenthal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Holden Rosenthal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rosenthal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bomb sprawls well. Bomb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rosenthal gets slowly back to his feet.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rosenthal here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Rosenthal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Rosenthal counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Rosenthal postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bomb tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rosenthal is fighting to break Bomb's control of his arms but Bomb is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Adam Bomb has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Rosenthal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rosenthal throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bomb on the side of the head.
Bomb misses with an uppercut.

Rosenthal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bomb swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bomb throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rosenthal avoids the head kick by Bomb.

Bomb throws a lazy uppercut
and Rosenthal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rosenthal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bomb throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rosenthal.
Bomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rosenthal.
Rosenthal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bomb avoids it really well and circles away.
Bomb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Adam Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Holden Rosenthal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rosenthal closes the distance and clinches up with Bomb, looking for a takedown. Rosenthal pushes Bomb against the cage but Bomb circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rosenthal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bomb as he jumps to the side.

A close second round but Adam Bomb will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Bomb loads up on a big right hand but Rosenthal slips the punch.
Rosenthal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rosenthal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bomb jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bomb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bomb tries a head kick but it misses.
Rosenthal avoids the body shot from Bomb.

Rosenthal shoots in and bounces Bomb off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rosenthal is standing up over Bomb. Bomb looks to escape but Rosenthal dives into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bomb can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rosenthal postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bomb is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rosenthal connects with a decent elbow.
Rosenthal is looking to take a break and control but Bomb is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The strikes coming from Rosenthal are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Rosenthal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bomb is trying to control Rosenthal's posture but Rosenthal avoids it.

Bomb tries to buck Rosenthal off but Rosenthal is having none of it.
Rosenthal is putting a hurting on Bomb here, landing some big shots from side control.
