Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Stout!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout throws a nice looking combination but Savage bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stout throws a sloppy head kick and Savage moves out of range easily.
Stout displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Savage.
Sam Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stout misses with a two punch combination.
Stout tries a head kick but it misses.
Savage scores with a jab.
Stout misses with a wild combination.
Savage misses with a kick to the body.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stout as he avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Savage. Stout does a little dance to reset his feet.
Savage takes a swing at Stout's ribcage but misses.

Savage closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stout quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Stout is looking to escape.
Savage performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Stout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Savage wants to control but Stout is keeping him busy.

Savage is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Stout keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stout is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Savage scores with a couple of nice shots.

Savage is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Stout wants to get back to his feet.
Stout is in trouble now - Savage has advanced to mount!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage with shots to the head and body - Stout looks very uncomfortable down there.

Savage is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Stout is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Stout flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Savage anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Stout and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Savage slips an arm under Stout chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Savage has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Savage is squeezing on Stout like an anaconda would it's prey. Stout fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
