Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Blight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blight comes to the cage accompanied by Suikoden II - The Chase. Bowman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Bowman misses
and Blight counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blight takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bowman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Blight takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bowman checks a leg kick.

Bowman wants to clinch up but Blight keeps it at a distance.

Blight tries to move into range but Bowman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Bowman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Bowman connects with a body shot that sends Blight's belly button to the back.
Bowman misses with a straight left.
Blight throws a leg kick but Bowman sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Blight dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bowman. That did some damage!

Blight attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bowman swings for the body but Blight moves out of range.
Bowman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Bowman feints and then cracks Blight's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blight down.

Bowman scores with a hook to the body. Blight takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Blight walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Blight avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bowman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bowman throws a looping overhand right but Blight ducks down to avoid it.

Bowman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Oh Blight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bowman throws a looping overhand right but Blight ducks down to avoid it.

Bowman is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Blight slips under a jab.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Bowman has cracked Blight with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Bowman lands another huge swinging hook and Blight tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Blight, before Bowman can land any more shots!
