The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer throws a front kick aimed at Rage's knee but Rage avoids it well.
Rage looks to score with a jab to the body but Bauer is just out of range.

Bauer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rage counters with a thumping low kick.
Rage fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rage swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bauer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vic Bauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bauer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bauer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bauer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bauer counters with a straight that turns Rage's legs to rubber! Bauer pushes forward with more strikes and Rage goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Vic Bauer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
